Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager directs and manages the activities of the Plant Facilities and Maintenance departments. They are responsible for planning and managing all activities of the Maintenance roadmap and processes for this facility, establishing priorities, and coordinating activities to ensure optimal performance of the facility and related tools.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with the Technical Services Manager for CAPEX projects for the growth and expansion of facilities capabilities.
* Manage the inventory of machine tool and facility spare parts, including consignment and crib programs.
* Implement service contracts and OEM strategies to minimize unplanned machine or process downtime.
* Manage subordinate Team Leaders and planners; responsible for their overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
* Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.
* Ensure buildings and machinery are well maintained.
* Establish the capital budget for equipment replacement and the overall maintenance budget.
* Ensure the factory has the correct tools and documentation to meet the 5-year roadmap.
* Manage rental and leasing activities related to production and buildings.
* Oversee maintenance, performance, and service agreements with external suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
* Manage facilities safety systems and coordinate ERT teams.
* Maintain and upgrade the EAM system, including measurement, reporting, and work order systems.
* Coordinate the TPM program, including safety stock, forecasting, OEE, and training.
* Conduct long-term planning and strategy for machine tools and facility equipment.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field (electrical or mechanical).
* Minimum 5 years of management experience, demonstrating leadership in managing teams.
* At least 5 years of practical experience in manufacturing, with expertise in TPM, predictive maintenance, and managing KPIs or OEE methodology.
* Proficient problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Project management skills, including budgeting and change management.
* Ability to develop strategies for equipment reliability and performance.
* Effective coaching skills for subordinate development.
* Ability to interpret documents in English.
* Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
* Ability to read schematics, CAD drawings, and contracts.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and MS Project.
