Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hedge End
Start Date: November 2025
Contract: Part-Time and Full-Time
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Hedge End. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and approachable attitude.
* Ability to support pupils academically and socially, including those with additional learning needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet the needs of the classroom.
About the role:
* Work alongside class teachers to support pupils’ learning and development.
* Assist with classroom activities, group work, and 1:1 support where needed.
* Help pupils with literacy, numeracy, and social skills, tailored to their individual needs.
* Support positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies.
* Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
