We’re recruiting a Lead Data Platform Engineer to play a key role in shaping, delivering and evolving our enterprise‑scale data platforms. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll set technical direction, mentor engineers, and work closely with architects and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable data solutions.
Required Experience
* Extensive experience across the full SDLC
* Strong background in data streaming technologies and data pipelines
* Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform
* Deep experience with containerised environments
* Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, C# or Go
* Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)
* Experience operating in complex, enterprise‑scale environments
* Ability to define strategy and deliver within real‑world technical constraints
* Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including Confluent (Azure) and on‑prem
* Experience with Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink
* Building and maintaining custom Kafka implementations, including connectors in self‑managed Kubernetes
