Overview
CNC Millers opportunity at Amy Tyndall Design. This established precision engineering company manufactures a range of new and repeat parts, in small batches, on 3 and 5 axis machines. The role could suit a setter/operator or a programmer/setter operator. The mills are Fanuc controlled; any offline programming experience will command a higher starting salary. Most programming of the machines is offline (specific software training can be given). The work is interesting and challenging, with opportunities to progress within the company.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Ensure precision and quality of all components using appropriate measuring equipment.
* Carry out routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process.
Qualifications
* Starting salary is dependent on experience.
* Current UK right to work to be considered.
Compensation & Benefits
The package also includes substantial profit share bonuses on top of the stated salary.
