Holiday Inn Express Windsor are seeking a Guest Service Manager

We are now looking for a Guest Service Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Windsor. You will be the primary contact for our guests, person who makes our guests feel welcome, take pride in your hotel and deliver great guest experience.

Holiday Inn Express Windsor has 58 contemporary bedrooms. As well as being ideally located for access to the M4 and M25 motorways and Windsor train station, lots of famous local attractions including Legoland, Thorpe park, Eton College, Kew Gardens, Hampton Court, and of course Windsor Castle.

Catering for business and leisure markets, the Holiday Inn Express Windsor has onsite parking, and all our rates include Express Start Breakfast with selected hot items. We also offer a selection of great evening meals from something simple through to more traditional dishes.

A day in the life of GSM

To maintain and provide excellent guest service at all times and provide assistance and support to the team. To maximise sales and to minimise costs. Ensuring all brand standards and Health Safety procedures are being adhered to and to handle emergencies that may arise. You will also, recruit, train and continually develop the team to ensure we provide an exceptional guest experience. You will be in the heart of our hotel and get involved in everything from guest arrival, departure, serving at the bar, breakfast and kitchen. You will be the person a guest turns to if they have any concerns or comment.

You must be able to:

* Ability to inspire and motivate
* Team and relationship building
* Be approachable, friendly, professional
* Drive to exceed your set KPI's
* Strong sense of pro-activeness
* Problem solving
* Multitasking

Role Requirements:

* Ideally you will have worked in a Supervisory or Management role in a hotel environment and be able to demonstrate initiative
* You will be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with
* You will be committed to working on a weekly rota basis, which includes working weekends
* Previous exposure to brand environment would be an advantage
* A basic level certificate in Food Hygiene would also be an advantage, although full training will be given
