Overview: We are looking to recruit an SME Account Manager to join our growing Care Team based out of our Sale office. The Sale team is a fast-paced, collaborative group of professionals driven to succeed.

You will be responsible for delivering retention, cross-sale and quality targets, along with ensuring effective servicing of client accounts.


Responsibilities

* Take ownership of and manage a portfolio of care industry clients within the Care and Charities division.
* Create documents for new customers, handle mid-term adjustments and renewals information.
* Ensure all customer details are accurately recorded and entered in the system to maintain data integrity.
* Obtain renewal terms for customers, exploring options before presenting the best available solution.
* Deliver your individual and the team’s retention, cross-sale and quality targets.
* Prepare renewal closings from meeting notes and ensure cover is bound by the renewal date.
* Liaise with clients and insurers; confirm cover with insurers, process policies and chase outstanding documentation when required.
* Handle account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns as needed.
* Apply fundamental legal and regulatory policy related to internal policies and the insurance contract as required.
* Keep accurate records and process in line with procedures to ensure timely renewals and positive client outcomes.


Qualifications

* Commercial insurance knowledge is essential.
* Experience dealing with the Care sector is ideal.
* Holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications (Cert CII/Dip CII) desirable; education to GCSE standard or equivalent acceptable.
* Proven ability to work to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieve SLAs.
* Strong customer service focus with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Due diligence, process-driven with the ability to meet deadlines and forward-plan, organise and analyse information.
* High accuracy and attention to detail; able to use initiative to assist team members.
* Fully proficient in Acturis.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
