About this Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible team player, who understands the importance of going ‘over and above’. Our children thrive with adults who are friendly, firm and fun, and we are seeking a calm, consistent and committed Early Years Leader. The working pattern is: 8.00am-4.00pm Mon-Thursday & 8.00am-3.30pm Fridays (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). This is a term-time only role ( optional 5-10 days extra days during school holidays). £31,537.00 - £33,699.00 Annually (FTE) BANES Grade 6 (SCP18-22) Retention Allowance £1200 The setting is open 8.45am-3.00pm (school days only) and there is some flexibility with working hours outside of these times. The successful candidate will: * Lead the Pre-School team offering high-quality early education * Manage the day-to-day running of the pre-school * Plan & Deliver a balanced curriculum using the EYFS framework * Assess children’s development and use this to plan and deliver sessions & interventions * Take responsibility for safeguarding alongside the school’s Designated Safeguarding Leaders * Continue to improve and evolve our Pre-School provision * Be the ‘Key Person’ for a group of children * Work closely with our School Early Years Team & SENCo * Collaborate with our Office Manager around admissions, finance and staffing * Take the lead in communication and organisation of events for parents We require a Level 4 or above Early Years Qualification. *We can offer you:* * Children who will make you smile everyday and love their Early Years learning * Consideration of your ‘well-being’ and access to support (in the eventuality any is required) * Opportunities to grow as a professional and access to regular high-quality CPD * The support of an experienced and dedicated team of Educationalists and Office support * The support of a Trust, who like us, values its employees and respects our school’s individuality * Pension contributions * A recruitment and retention allowance paid annually * Access to the Cycle to Work Scheme * an Early Years environment (and budget) that is continually evolving and improving * Support from B&NES Early Years Support Team The Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
