An exciting opportunity has become available for a graphic designer to join our team at our Ty’n Llidiart, Corwen site in North Wales.
At Ifor Williams Trailers, we see graphic design as a visual narrative that engages, informs and influences our employees, customers and members of the public. We are looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media.
We work with mixed media such as signage, printed material, visual adverts, recruitment packs and the company website. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software including Adobe Cloud, Photoshop and Illustrator, and be skilled in every step of the design process, from the concept to final deliverable.
You will collaborate with all departments across the company, and should be able to take written or verbal ideas and transform them into a design that corresponds to our business objectives and company image.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find a fitting style and layout for every design venture. An eye for detail and the ability to always bring something to the table would be the key to your success.

Responsibilities:
· Assisting with developing our brand, products and promotional materials
· Create promotional graphics and images for publication in printed newspapers and magazines.
· Create promotional graphics and images for publication online on the company website and through social media channels.
· Create and edit promotional video materials for publication online.
· Take photographs of products, parts and staff members, using digital editing to improve and enhance the images.
· Create and develop basic marketing and promotional strategies, using marketing and advertising principles. Advertising and marketing campaigns needs to be well considered and presented accurately, with good use of the English language.
· Digitally archive and catalogue promotional material on our cloud-based system. Act as an administrator for the system, sharing promotional material with internal stakeholders and external distributors.
· Supporting day to day activities in order to learn, monitor, improve and work with in the IWT marketing team
· Innovate, lead and develop ideas
· Engage with key internal and external stakeholders
Key Requirements:
· Experience using Adobe Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
· Experience using Videography Software and Video Editing
· Previous experience in Photography
· Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
