Responsibilities
* Recruit and train the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond by developing their operational and leadership skills.
* Coach your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products, building the store brand and providing customers with the right range, quality and service to retain repeat business.
* Lead the team in driving trade activity, using your expertise and knowledge to grow sales and maximise profit.
* Build and maintain managers’ knowledge to deliver and sustain the Store Change Plan; plan resources to ensure hours are worked at the most beneficial times, identify root cause issues, and implement sustainable solutions with continual reviews.
* Prioritise the safety of colleagues and ensure the store trades legally by coaching the team to use all security tools and provide a safer workplace.

* You are natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at heart, listening and understanding others, building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* You use your energy and resilience to keep momentum going in challenging environments, owning decision‑making, acting quickly for customers and colleagues.
* You have energy and drive to deliver beyond expectation, doing the right thing regardless of circumstances and inspiring confidence.
* You monitor competitors’ activities and seek ways to introduce new initiatives to improve the store for customers.
