The role
As a Vehicle Technician - Apprenticeship Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting the British Army's equipment and vehicle fleet management, which includes over 50,000 vehicles ranging from quad bikes and generators to main battle tanks and weapons.
Your daily responsibilities include visiting vehicle mechanic learners in their workplaces, utilizing your vocational experience to deliver training, coaching, assessing, and supporting them in achieving their apprenticeships.
* Support, motivate, and coach learners throughout their apprenticeship programs, ensuring timely completion of all components while meeting requirements from awarding organizations, ESFA, and Ofsted.
* Monitor and review learner progress in line with customer expectations.
* Ensure all documentation is accurately completed within specified timelines.
* Provide guidance on portfolio building based on program requirements.
* Record, plan, and track individual learner progress according to established processes.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract, and is fully remote. Travel to sites in Tidworth, Lyneham, Warminster, Colerne, Larkhill, Bulford, and Wiltshire is required.

Essential experience for the Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship Coach
* Extensive experience in vehicle mechanics.
* Good understanding of work-based learning programs.
* Previous experience in the defense sector, preferably within the army (desired but not essential).
Qualifications required
* Relevant industry qualification (minimum Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics).
* Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
