About The Role We are looking to offer an opportunity for Data Administrator to support the council’s Homes for Ukraine programme for a period of 12 months. Providing support to Homes to Ukraine through data analysis, government returns and visualisation including, but not limited to, analysis and trends in relation to levels resettlement of foreign nationals. The post-holder will be responsible for providing a range of analytical support and advice to the Resettlement service Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update information systems and databases Provide a wide and varied range of administrative tasks to assigned projects ensuring written reports are compiled, support is provided, and records are accurate which will help to inform decision making. Contribute towards statutory data collections Develop ways to improve data accuracy and quality Respond to Freedom of Information Requests and any other adhoc requests for information, data and analysis Work Style At North Somerset Council, we offer a hybrid working environment based on four distinct work styles. This role falls into the category of Mobile/Field Worker which means you can expect to work in the following way: Home working 1-2 days per month in the office Come into the office for meetings or focused work. Virtual connections with the team are essential, with portable technology supporting work on the go. However, please note that during the induction period, it may be necessary to spend more time in the office to support your learning and development. We are flexible and open to discussions about your preferred working style, and if you wish to be in the office more frequently, this can be negotiated. About You We are looking for someone who has excellent technical and analytical skills and are passionate about working with services to achieve their reporting aims and objectives. You should be well organised and resourceful with good attention to detail. Experience of working in an analytical environment within the public sector would be an advantage.
