Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Schools across the SM6 postcode (Coulsdon, Purley, Chipstead, and surrounding areas)
Salary: £110 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time, Temporary/Long-term roles available
Start Date: Immediate or September starts
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a proactive and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the SM6 area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms in the absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during teacher absences, following pre-set lesson plans.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students with their work, providing guidance where needed.
Foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Assist with administrative tasks related to cover lessons.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Confidence in managing classroom behaviour.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups.
Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, TA work, youth mentoring) is desirable but not essential.
