Based at our site in Enfield, we have a fantastic, full-time opportunity for an experienced and inclusive People and Culture, Business Lead to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive all aspects of Safety and People functions, aligning with our business strategy and culture ambitions. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for developing and implementing best practice people strategies, fostering a safety-first culture, and supporting our vision to be an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of People & Culture strategy in partnership with the CEO and Lead Team.
- Oversee health, safety, and wellbeing programs, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.
- Drive culture and integration initiatives that embed our vision and values.
- Manage all aspects of HR operations, policies, and procedures across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver leadership and team development programs.
- Ensure effective talent acquisition, development, and retention.
- Support payroll, process improvements, and HRIS (Zambion) performance.
- Provide coaching, advice, and support to leaders and teams across the business.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions and community partners.
What we need from you!
- Senior experience in People & Culture/HSW/Human Resources leadership, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or agriculture.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver People & Culture operating plans aligned to business objectives.
- Strong IR/ER knowledge, including EA bargaining and compliance in multi-site, shift-based environments.
- Demonstrated leadership in culture, performance, training, and retention initiatives.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and organisational development skills.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and able to drive transformation and change.
- Bachelor of Business/HR or relevant degree/diploma (desirable).
- Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft suite and HRIS systems.
