Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Northampton
A well-established international business is seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to provide proactive, pragmatic legal support across a broad range of matters in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on a broad range of legal matters with a focus on commercial contracts.
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to a high standard.
* Partner with business leaders to deliver solutions-oriented guidance within relevant deadlines.
* Manage risk assessment with a balanced, business-focused approach.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisers, and other relevant parties.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of post-qualification experience from a reputable law firm or in an in-house legal function.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, written and verbal.
* Experience in an international or multinational business environment.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple matters independently and to deadline.
* Sound legal analysis, commercial judgment, and attention to detail.
* Collaborative and curious, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
* Additional language skills desirable but not essential.
