Supervision, across a 24/7 shift pattern, of a Porters Team at a busy Hospital in Basingstoke, working shift patterns. Responsible to the Portering & Security Lead.
Main duties of the job
Supervision and management of a team of Porters ensuring that the demands of the hospital are met.
Your team of Porters play a crucial part in keeping the hospital working by moving patients, goods and equipment between departments to where they are needed.
Hospital Porters are also involved in emergency response arrangements including the response to fire alarm activations and support to security where required.
