 * Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9-5, 1 weekend day every 12 weeks.

About the Fraud Team Manager role
Our Mission in the Financial Crime & Fraud Collective is to earn and keep our customers’ trust, support Monzo’s safe growth, and contribute to building a safer society. The Fraud Team Manager is responsible for managing the performance, development, engagement and wellbeing of their team and supporting overall domain success.
Fraud Team Managers work within one of three core pillars in the Fraud domain (Prevent, Protect or Pursue) and will manage a team of Investigators.
Key Responsibilities
 * Analysing, understanding and regularly reporting on performance and absence data
 * Taking proactive action to manage and support team performance, delivering timely feedback, coaching, and formal performance management when necessary
 * Managing team wellbeing and absence levels, facilitating return-to-work conversations and implementing formal processes
 * Keeping the team engaged with the wider business mission and goals, connecting their contributions to success
 * Using feedback from quarterly surveys to inform and build action plans
 * Supporting career development through effective personal development plans
 * Providing recognition and maintaining a vibrant team channel
 * Cascading essential information and process changes and supporting the change curve
 * Addressing conduct concerns, facilitating investigations and disciplinary processes in line with policies
 * Accurately documenting necessary records
 * Supporting hiring across the domain
Your day-to-day
 * Managing the personal & professional development of approximately 12 Fraud Investigators
 * Fostering an empathetic, high-performance culture in the team
 * Providing technical coaching, feedback, and advice on fraud tasks
 * Analysing and driving improvement in team performance and reporting relevant insights
 * Reporting team performance in weekly check-ins with operations managers
 * Owning team training and ensuring learning modules are current
 * Supporting service level adherence and feeding back to Workforce Management
 * Aggregating feedback from the team and ensuring it informs business change
 * Communicating and embedding change within the team
 * Contributing to a strong control environment by minimising breaches and risk events
 * Reviewing complaints and quality assurance failures, identifying improvement opportunities
 * Completing QC checks for the team and providing feedback based on those checks
 * Conducting job interviews for Fraud Investigators and contributing to hiring decisions
 * Chairing employee relations cases and making decisions consistent with Monzo’s values
