Research and Community Coordinator | 10397 | Fixed Term Contract until 31 January 2028 | 22.2 hours per week | £29,064 to £31,022 per annum pro rata (Scale F) | Dereham, Norfolk
Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated individual to help deliver the exciting 250th anniversary project “Gressenhall 250: More than a Workhouse”, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
This post is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and is a fixed term contract for 18 months. The role is based at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, a rural site near Dereham, Norfolk. It will involve some travel to sites in Norfolk or occasional weekend and evening working as part of delivery of outreach activities.
Responsibilities
* Take the lead in the coordination of volunteer researchers and an oral history project.
* Deliver outreach activities and support exhibitions and events.
* Help plan and deliver the 250th anniversary project and related activities.
* Support the coordination of partnerships and stakeholder engagement as part of the project delivery.
Qualifications and attributes
* Enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated individual.
* Experience in coordinating volunteers and/or community research is desirable (as described in the original job posting).
Location, hours and travel
Based at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, with some travel to sites in Norfolk and occasional weekend and evening work as part of outreach delivery.
