About the Role:
1. Supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects
2. Working alongside teachers to deliver tailored support to individual pupils or small groups
3. Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
4. Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Supporting pupils with additional learning needs (SEND experience is desirable but not essential)
About You:
6. Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable
7. A calm, patient and encouraging approach to supporting learning
8. A genuine interest in education and pupil development
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. A willingness to learn and take part in professional development opportunities
11. Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - a degree is desirable but not essential
