Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and vehicles.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and equipped with necessary tools and materials.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical repair including timing belts,chains & Wet belts
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive or machinery repair preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers, as well as power tools like drills and grinders.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
