The role of Senior Project Manager will include:
1. Delivering local compliance projects throughout the project lifecycle, in support of business objectives.
2. Working within and aiding the development of appropriate tools and good practice processes to support the effective delivery and coordination of business change programmes
3. Delivering improvements in financial performance through the effective delivery of change programmes/projects
4. Providing regular, high quality management information and updates to senior management on programme delivery, escalating issues and decisions as appropriate.
5. Managing project/programme team members including their effective recruitment and on-going development, to ensure required skilled staff are available to meet business needs.
6. Undertaking analysis of customer needs to identify practical business improvements, working with internal and external stakeholders to scope service and product improvements that meet the current and future needs of customers.
7. Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives.
Skills and experiences:
8. Degree in relevant subject
9. Prince2 Practitioner level
10. Proven experience of managing medium to large scale projects/programmes, with an understanding of a full project life cycle
11. Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third party suppliers
12. Some experience of managing staff
13. Excellent communication skills
14. Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

27. Role salary is £54,197 per annum (rising to £57,050 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
