The Information Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, organisation, and control of all project-related information and documentation. This role is critical in ensuring that digital and physical documents are accurately managed and securely stored throughout the project lifecycle.
The Information Manager will work closely with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards, maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE), and ensure compliance with industry and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of digital information management processes.

Key Responsibilities
* Establish and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure secure storage and exchange of project information.
* Ensure all project documentation complies with ISO 19650 and other relevant industry standards or client requirements; implement document naming conventions, numbering systems, and version control, ensuring all project teams are working from the latest versions.
* Manage project digital mobilisation, ensuring seamless onboarding and setting up information management processes.
* Enforce compliance across all project stages; ensure all team members and subcontractors follow established standards and procedures and deliver according to the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP).
* Facilitate efficient exchange of information between multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project information.
* Implement security measures to protect sensitive and confidential information, ensuring access control protocols are in place.
* Work closely with the Document Controllers, Project Manager, Lead Information Manager, and project team members to align information management processes with project goals.
* Provide training and support to project teams and stakeholders on document control procedures and the use of digital tools, including the CDE.
* Serve as the point of contact for information management queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance and support.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes to information management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Skills and Qualifications
* HND, HNC, or a degree in information management, construction management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in information management or a similar role, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors, managing large volumes of data and documentation across multiple projects.
* Experience managing deliverables within a Common Data Environment, such as Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable
* Experience with Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
* ISO 19650 Certification.
