We are seeking a Principal Surveyor in our Asset Management team. This is a key role in the organisation, supporting the Contract Manager who leads the team. You will play an active role in ensuring the condition and safety of our customer’s homes, and communal grounds.
We are looking for dynamic, innovative and people-focused candidates, who have a proven track record of delivering and improving operational activities. It is essential that you have a broad knowledge of current legislative and regulatory requirements. You will be passionate about supporting people in housing need
Key Duties for each role are:
Principal Surveyor – Asset Management
1. Manage the Estate Maintenance team and service.
2. Manage the acquisition process for Derby Homes.
3. Oversee the operational management of the ground’s maintenance, garden maintenance, communal cleaning and arboriculture contracts.
4. Oversee Crime Prevention works.
5. Oversee Derby Homes portfolio of HRA Shops.
6. Liaise with DCC estates in relation to RTB acquisitions, and development acquisitions, and enable smooth handover of properties.
