Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant/Paralegal to provide essential support within our office environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing correspondence, and maintaining efficient administrative processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and proficiency in office software to contribute to a dynamic team. May also consider an opportunity for law graduates looking to progress.
Duties
* Managing and prioritising incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls with professionalism and clarity
* Organising meetings, appointments, and schedules using Microsoft Outlook
* Preparing, editing, and formatting documents and reports in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems, both digitally and physically
* Assisting with data entry tasks and updating databases as required
* Supporting team members with administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
* Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
Requirements
* Must have GCSE and A-level qualifications or equivalent
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Good time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
* Basic IT knowledge to resolve common technical issues or coordinate support
* Prior experience in an administrative role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if needed
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, whilst being a team player
