Our Industry X Team drives innovation by delivering best-in-class management consultancy based on industrial experience leveraged by the latest technologies. We help businesses adopt and implement new technologies to fuel their growth across industries including manufacturing, products, services, and software companies.
The Sales Teams lead the sale of large and complex opportunities at Accenture in the UK and Ireland across various industries. This dynamic team comprises Sales Captures and Bid Managers who support opportunities that often involve the full breadth of Accenture’s services. We work with major clients and new industry players, fostering an environment that encourages growth and promotion.
What responsibilities will you have?
* The Sales Specialist role supports senior management in sales opportunities, focusing on sales strategy, pipeline management, client strategy development, and origination of new work.
* Aligning our sales offerings with client requirements.
* Managing sales pipelines across UK, Ireland, and Africa to help leadership monitor targets and actuals.
* Supporting the UK Innovation Hub by showcasing demonstrations and innovations.
* Collaborating with deal leadership on developing, refining, and executing sales strategies.
* Creating and influencing sales campaign strategies, ensuring involvement of Accenture Leadership for compelling proposals.
* Ensuring activities comply with internal governance processes.
* Working with Senior Sales Leads on deal development, including financial structuring and pricing.
* Understanding and articulating key risks with subject matter experts, including solution delivery and legal risks.
Job Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a sales pursuit team environment, with expertise in bid/proposal management, business development, project management, negotiations, or commercial pricing.
* Experience managing a sales pipeline and providing regular updates to leadership.
* Flexibility and a positive attitude to adapt to dynamic business needs.
* Proficiency in assessing complex problems and developing solutions.
* Ability to learn and follow sales lifecycle processes.
* Strong communication skills for engaging with senior management and clients.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills to meet challenging deadlines.
* Collaborative working style with internal teams and clients.
* Leadership ability to manage small to medium teams and projects, facilitating calls and meetings as needed.
