Overview
Join the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group as a Student Experience Support Leader. Your role centres on ensuring an outstanding student experience, supporting students in achieving potential and preparing them for life beyond college.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a presence in student‑facing areas to address engagement and reinforce high expectations and security procedures.
* Lead specified aspects of student experience and support services, ensuring all campus students receive high‑quality individual support to achieve learning aims.
* Contribute to retention and achievement, ensuring a quality student experience service.
* Manage day‑to‑day student support conduct and disciplinary issues; liaise with managers and external partners for support services.
* Serve as key point of contact for internal services, parents and other stakeholders to support students.
* Support a culture of belonging and positive behaviour.
Qualifications & Experience
* Educated to Level 4 or equivalent experience.
* GCSE A*–C or 9–4 in English and Maths or Level 2 equivalent.
* Considerable experience supporting post‑16 learners in education or training.
* Experience negotiating with stakeholders in pastoral/student support setting.
* Proven ability to plan and coordinate own activities and coordinate activities of others through liaison with diverse groups.
