We're excited to offer you a new opportunity to join our Lettings Accounts team as a Credit Control Assistant based in our Southampton office. This role is a full time, Fixed Term Contract position for 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out credit control for the Lettings Accounts team predominantly via phone or email
* Deal with queries regarding accounts and statements
* Allocate payments to correct accounts
* Chase and follow up on rent arrears
* Prepare and process landlord disbursements
* Pay contractors for maintenance and repair works
* Ensure compliance with deposit protection schemes (e.g., TDS, DPS)
* Deal with queries regarding accounts and statements
Qualifications
* Background inCredit Control
* Previous industry experience ideal, although not essential
* Basic accounting knowledge
* Proficiency in property management software beneficial (Fixflow, Reapit)
* Good Excel and general IT skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and communication skills
