Job Description
Core Duties:
* Collaborate closely with the principal investigator to design and implement research studies.
* Examine experimental and clinical data, maintaining meticulous laboratory records.
* Share findings regularly with the principal investigator and research team.
* Assist in drafting technical reports, grant proposals, and scientific presentations.
* Contribute to peer-reviewed publications as a lead or co-author.
* Mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of research specialists.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer science & engineering, applied statistics/mathematics, or a related field; familiarity with cardiac electrophysiology modeling is an advantage.
* Strong background and interest in numerical optimization, statistical inference, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
