About the Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support students’ learning and understanding of geographical concepts, and create a positive and structured classroom environment. This role allows you to inspire students and contribute to their academic and personal growth. Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons for students of varying abilities. • Support students’ learning, understanding, and curiosity through differentiated teaching. • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment. • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, lesson plans, and interventions. • Maintain accurate records of student attainment, attendance, and behaviour. Qualifications: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience. • Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Ability to engage and motivate students in learning. • Flexible, creative, and adaptable approach to lesson planning.
