If you are an Accounts Payable Specialist looking for an exciting new career, it could start here!This is a hands‑on AP position where you'll take responsibility for the full purchase ledger cycle. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth supplier relationships and accurate payment processing.

Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities include:

3. Processing high‑volume invoices and managing the full AP workflow
4. Handling multi‑currency payments across UK and Europe
5. Matching invoices to Po's and resolving discrepancies with suppliers & internal teams
6. Preparing weekly/monthly payment runs, including BACS schedules and reconciliations
7. Managing supplier queries and completing regular statement reconciliations
8. Maintaining supplier master data with strict fraud‑prevention controls
9. Supporting month‑end AP tasks, reporting, and audit requirements
10. Getting involved in continuous improvement as the finance function grows

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

11. Strong experience within Accounts Payable
12. Confidence working with multi‑currency transactions (desirable)
13. ERP system knowledge desirable
14. Strong attention to detail
15. The ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team
16. A flexible and adaptable approach, comfortable with change
17. Clear, professional communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues
