Role: Electronics PCB assembler
Location: Exeter

This role will be with a leading UK company who need a PCB electronics assembler to help churn out boards.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong diagnostic skills, technical expertise in PCB rework, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
* Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
* Skilled in the use of hand soldering tools
* Experience with rework and repair of PCBs
Daily job:
* Diagnose and fault-find to component level on electronic assemblies
* Rework PCBs with through-hole and surface mount components using hot air rework tools and soldering irons
* Program and test PCBs using diagnostic software and test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
* Read and interpret schematic drawings and technical documentation
* Support the Manager in overseeing quality metrics and driving continuous improvement projects
* Manage customer non-conformances, conduct internal audits, and contribute to wider quality initiatives
Key skills:
* Proven ability in PCB rework and component-level fault finding
* Surface mount assembler skills
* Box Build and final display experience
* Computer literacy and familiarity with diagnostic/test software
* Experience with industry-standard test equipment
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems (advantageous)
* Any RF experience is also desired
