What skills and experience we're looking for. We are looking to appoint a specialist D&T Teacher with a specialism in Resistant Materials or Engineering. The successful candidate will be, or if an ECT, have the ability to become, an inspirational classroom practitioner and there is a comprehensive induction programme in place to support new staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students in Design and Technology, to teach within a popular and well-resourced department where uptake at KS4 is high. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to curriculum development, and foster a love of learning within D&T. All teachers have their own classrooms, with laptop and projector.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching in Design and Technology.
* Contribute to curriculum development within D&T and foster a love of learning.
* Support learners to achieve high standards at KS4 where uptake is high.

* The vast majority of teachers have their own classroom
* Each teacher is provided with a laptop
* Admin support for each department
* Shorter reports three times a year, no tutor comments, except Y11
