Personal Advisor – Leaving Care Team (Sefton) 36 hours per week | Initial 16-week contract | Potential for extension About the Role We are seeking a committed and experienced Personal Advisor to join the Leaving Care Team in Sefton. This role involves providing high-quality support to young people as they transition from care to independent living, ensuring they have the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Supporting young people aged 16 as they move towards independence Developing and reviewing Pathway Plans Providing advice around education, employment, training, housing, health, and budgeting Advocating on behalf of young people and liaising with partner agencies Managing a diverse caseload and maintaining accurate recordsWhat We’re Looking For: Experience working with young people in or leaving care Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and within a team Good understanding of the Children (Leaving Care) Act (desirable) A person-centred, strengths-based approachContract Details: Hours: 36 hours per week Contract: 16 weeks initially Location: Sefton Start Date: ASAP Extension: Possible based on service needIf you are passionate about supporting young people to achieve independence and positive outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
