Join Our Team as a Deputy Manager (New Home)
Location:Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary:£15.94 per hour (£31,083 per annum) plus benefits.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract:Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full, clean manual driving licence is essential for this role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Deputy Manager who is ready to take that next step. Join us and drive our mission to enable the people we support to achieve the extraordinary every day. The successful candidate will have achieved or be working towards their Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care and have gained some management experience.
What will you be doing?
As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for:
Assisting the Registered Manager and deputising for them in their absence, and lead your team to provide extraordinary, person-centred support.
Ensuring the safety of the people we support, whilst giving choice, respecting dignity, and promoting independence
Managing staff performance, training and appraisals ensuring the team are equipped and motivated to deliver the best support possible.
Championing skilful interactions, person-centred planning and partnership working to plan and implement professionally designed support plans that genuinely improve the quality of everyday life.

Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you support.
Safeguarding and promote the welfare of the people you will support.
Helping the people you support to plan towards and achieve both short- and long-term goals.
Planning and you will be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities.
Working in accordance with SeeAbility’s values.Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities, autism and/or visual impairment is also advantageous. In addition, you will be required to work flexibly to respond to the needs of the home(s). You will therefore be required on call to provide emergency support including evenings and weekends on a rota basis. Being able to drive, will be advantageous in this circumstance.
Who you will be Supporting?
Mulberry Lodge is a fantastic 6-bed supported living home that truly caters to adults with complex care needs and learning disabilities, including those with challenging behaviours. With some residents relying on PEG feeding and others benefiting from Vagus Nerve Stimulation for epilepsy, the expertise in managing intricate health care requirements here is essential.
