We are looking for a part-time delivery driver and branch assistant to help with the daily running and internal operations of our business.
Please note this is a job share role.
Option 1
Days/Hours-
Monday - 10am - 4pm
Tuesday - 10am - 4pm
Friday - 10am - 4pm alternate (1 week on 1 week off)
Option 2
Days/Hours-
Wednesday - 10am - 4pm
Thursday - 10am - 4pm
Friday - 10am - 4pm alternate (1 week on 1 week off)
Hours vary depending on how many deliveries are required that day.
(No weekends or bank holidays plus an annual Christmas shut down)
The successful candidate will be a fit and active person with excellent communication skills and of smart appearance. You will be making deliveries to customers using the company van and helping to load and offload goods at customer premises.
You must have a clean driving license which you have held for a minimum of 1 year and be over 30 years of age for insurance purposes.
Duties include, but are not limited to
* Processing orders on the computer system.
* Store transfers & stock control.
* To assist with the daily internal operations.
* Planning delivery routes
* Updating our delivery log system (De-track)
* Delivery of goods to our customers
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
* High levels of accuracy essential.
* Experience in our industry or similar will be a distinct advantage.
* Data entry and administrative experience would be an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A high level of organisational & planning skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
