Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley, West Sussex for Car Dealer Group
Pay: £34,000 - £40,000 Basic DOE + £5k Bonus + Overtime
Hours: 8.30 -5pm Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable car dealership group in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians seeking a role that offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair, working efficiently to deliver excellent results for customers and the dealership.
Benefits:
1. Competitive basic salary from £34,000 up to £40,000 dependent on experience
2. Achievable OTE of approximately £45,000 with the inclusion of bonuses and overtime
3. Bonus potential of up to £5,000
4. Overtime paid at enhanced rates
5. Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 5pm
6. Rotational Saturday mornings to accommodate busy workshop demands

Duties:
8. Carry out repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
9. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
10. Use diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle issues
11. Ensure work is completed within allocated timeframes
12. Maintain high quality and attention to detail in all tasks
13. Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle documentation
14. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
15. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential
16. Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
17. Full UK driving licence
18. Strong diagnostic skills and a good understanding of vehicle systems
19. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
20. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
21. Flexible approach to working hours, including rota Saturday mornings
