Our client, a leading authority in the highways sector, is seeking a skilled Project Manager/Transport Planner to join their team on a contract basis to support a significant multi-modal corridor project in West midlands.
Ability to work part-time (2-3 days per week) over a period of 15-18 months
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the development of the Stoneleigh to Westwood Heath Multi-Modal Corridor project
Engaging with key stakeholders including the University and local developers
Overseeing and coordinating project tasks as outlined in the project scope
Ensuring project milestones are met within the 15-18 month contract period
Assisting in the preparation for the Local Plan Examination in Public (EiP)
Providing regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in Transport Planning
Proven experience in Project Management, ideally with a PRINCE2 qualification
Strong understanding of highways infrastructure and multi-modal transport projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple local authorities and stakeholders
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
