£38,000 - £40,000 + £5,000 bonus
40hrs p/w | You can work either 5 days: 8 hours / 4 days: 10 hours
If you're a motivated, organised and proactive manager in the childcare space, and you're looking to develop yourself alongside one of the most prominent childcare organisations in the UK, this might just be the role you're seeking.
Our client is firmly in the top 20 Nursery Groups in the UK. Holding multiple awards for outstanding service and integrity, they are continuing to grow rapidly through acquisitions and development.
They are seeking a Nursery manager with a proven background in leadership to:
1. Lead, motivate and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years practice.
2. Ensure all children receive high-quality care and education, promoting their development and wellbeing.
3. Maintain strong relationships with families, fostering open communication and partnership.
4. Oversee operational standards including health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene practices.
5. Manage staffing, rotas and day-to-day budgeting within the nursery.
6. Ensure accurate record keeping, reporting and compliance with Ofsted and company policies.
7. Identify training needs and support staff development through coaching, appraisals and team meetings.
8. Promote inclusivity and adapt practice to meet the individual needs of children, including those with additional needs.
To qualify for this role you will need:
1. Level 3 (or above) early years qualification or equivalent; a Level 5/Manager qualification is desirable.
2. Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, early years frameworks and Ofsted requirements.
4. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
5. A commitment to inclusive practice, emotional intelligence and promoting child led learning.
6. Ability to manage budgets, staffing and operational duties efficiently.
