Accounts Receivable Officer
£24,441 - £26,591 per annum, 37 hours per week
9 months maternity contract

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about delivering exceptional financial support? Join Publica as an Accounts Receivable Officer and play a key role in supporting local communities through our finance team.
About the role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll ensure accurate and timely billing, collection, and recovery of sundry debts for our clients. Your work will directly support essential public services and ensure financial efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing invoices and recoding payments accurately and promptly
Handling queries and following up to resolution
Maintaining accurate financial records and data
Supporting customers with professionalism and integrity
Escalating issues that may affect service delivery
You will need
Qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 1 or GCSEs in Maths & English
High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Strong customer service skills and a ?can do' attitude
Ability to manage tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality
Great communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
Special conditions
Ability to travel
BPSS
There may be a requirement to work at other Publica Group (Support) Ltd and/or client locations to meet the needs of the business
You will be expected to work reasonable additional hours in line with the needs of the service
