This is a temporary position offering a competitive rate of £37.75 per hour (umbrella). Your expertise will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and promoting their welfare in challenging family situations.
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
* Conducting assessments and preparing reports for court, ensuring that the best interests of the child are prioritized.
* Working collaboratively with families, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
* Providing support and guidance to families during court proceedings, helping them to navigate the complexities of the legal system.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies.
* Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practice within the team.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
* A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Current Social Work England registration.
* Significant experience in child protection and private law matters.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
