The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in electrical infrastructure and renewable energy. You will be a proactive leader with excellent organisational skills, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the complete lifecycle of solar, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical maintenance projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules aligned with business goals.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee smooth project execution.
* Review technical designs, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
* Monitor project milestones, manage risks, and address site challenges effectively.
* Supervise on-site operations, manage resources, and uphold health and safety compliance.
* Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.
* Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams, fostering strong communication and accountability.
* Conduct site audits to verify adherence to project designs and specifications.
* Prepare comprehensive project reports and performance analyses for stakeholders.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements
* Fully electrically qualified with hands-on experience with solar PV.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Proven track record in managing renewable energy or electrical projects.
* Solid understanding of solar PV, battery systems, EV charging infrastructure, and maintenance protocols.
* Desirable qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS Card, ECS Gold Card.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015.
* Full UK driving licence.
