The Role
We're looking for an
IT Projects & Support Officer
to join our IT Team at Head Office in Selby. This hands-on role offers the chance to combine technical support responsibilities with involvement in exciting IT projects that will transform our business systems and enhance our cybersecurity posture.
You'll work closely with the IT Manager and wider team, providing 2nd/3rd line support, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to projects that improve business capabilities across the Group.
What you'll do:
* Support the delivery of IT projects – coordinate activities, track progress, and resolve risks/issues.
* Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues across hardware, software, and networks.
* Create and maintain IT documentation, project plans, and processes.
* Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to gather requirements and manage deliverables.
* Champion cybersecurity and ensure IT governance standards are met.
* Promote IT best practice across the organisation, identifying opportunities where technology can add value.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in IT support or technical roles
Experience supporting or managing IT projects
Understanding of project management methodologies
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001)
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with problem-solving
A can-do, adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
* Experience with mergers & acquisitions integrations
* Experience working in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries
