Salary: £47,472 - £51,048 (Upper Pay Scale + Leadership Allowance)

We are recruiting for a SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher to join a forward-thinking primary school in Accrington. This is a non-classroom-based leadership role, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the school while focusing on SEND provision and whole-school development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school.
* Work closely with SLT to drive inclusive practices and pupil progress.
* Support staff with strategies and interventions for pupils with additional needs.
* Contribute to whole-school leadership as part of the senior team.
* Liaise with external agencies, parents, and carers to ensure high-quality support.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience working with SEND pupils.
* Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach.
* A desire to step into a strategic role outside of the classroom.
* NASENCo qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
