Responsibilities
* Converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
* Work evenings and weekends as required, supporting call‑outs and emergency situations out-of-hours.
* Work across different sites on a weekly basis to support the Woodhorn Museum, Hexham Old Gaol, and The Morpeth Bagpipe Museum.
* Lead a high-performing customer service team, demonstrating excellent people-management skills and a proven track record of managing performance.
* Allocate personnel and resources across multiple locations, ensuring business needs are met for both customers and staff.
* Employ excellent organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills to support agile working across sites.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a managerial role, leading customer service teams with measurable high performance.
* Experience managing complex building operations and satisfying the varied business needs of customers, staff and partners.
* Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills with a record of excellent performance management.
* Demonstrated ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and out-of-hours emergencies.

* Hexham Old Gaol (seasonally open – support required varies across the year).
