Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer United Kingdom (Remote) Job Description
We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence—ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
* Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and crossings, including specifications
* Provide technical oversight on new product ideas and design plans
* Develop MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
* Ensure designs comply with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
* Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings is essential. Looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
* Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller specifications
* Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
* Knowledge of LinSig 3
* Full UK Driving Licence
