Returns & Claims Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time | Temp-to-Perm (3-month contract)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (paid breaks – equivalent salary £27,758.64)
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 17:00
* Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Returns & Claims Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced team within a manufacturing and distribution environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier and customer returns, processing claims and credits, and maintaining accurate stock and transactional records through ERP/WMS systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing supplier and customer returns
* Managing claims and credit processing
* Matching supplier invoices to goods received notes (GRNs)
* Updating stock records and transferring stock within ERP/WMS systems
* Supporting stock takes and stock reconciliation activities
* Liaising with internal departments including Commercial, Accounts, QA/QC, and Transport
* Ensuring all records and transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar administrative, logistics, purchasing, or stock control role
* Experience using ERP or WMS systems (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
