Support Worker Young Mum & Baby (13.5 hours per week, Fridays & Sundays)

Location:Chelmsford

Salary:£12.50 per hour (rising in line with inflation from April 2026)

Hours:13.5 hours per week split shifts on Fridays and Sundays only
Approximate timings: 9am1pm and 4pm7pm

Opportunity to pick up extra hours in other services in the local area if youd like more work

About the role
We are looking for a kind, reliable and dog-loving Support Worker to join a lovely young mum and her 18-month-old baby in their own home.

This is a really rewarding community-based support role where youll help a young family thrive. No personal care for the mum is required youll mainly be supporting with the little one and keeping the home running smoothly.

What youll be doing

* Helping with the 18-month-old (nappy changes, feeding, playing and general childcare)
* Light household chores (tidying, laundry, washing up, etc.)
* Spending time with the familys two very friendly dogs (must be a genuine dog lover!)
* Being a friendly, positive presence for the mum and baby
