As a Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader at our Dovecote Care Home in Milton Keynes, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Your dedication, reliability, and support will make a difference every day.

We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. * £13.45 to £13.85 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
* 18 hours per week - part-time available
* Daytime shifts from 8 am to 8 pm, nights 8 pm to 8 am, Monday to Sunday. You must be able to work alternate weekends.
About The Role
* Working alongside and mentoring a team of Care Assistants to ensure outstanding care is delivered at all times.
* Reporting to the Home Manager and working directly with ancillary teams and other Senior Care Assistants.
* Engaging in meaningful activities with residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
* Creating person-centred care plans and risk assessments, with regular updates and reviews.
What We Are Looking For From You
* Experience as a Senior Care Assistant with NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care or three years’ experience without NVQ.
* Experience in a nursing or care home or as a home care worker.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks – Care Quality Commission (CQC).
* Knowledge of working with people suffering from dementia is desirable.
* Previous experience prompting/administering medication using an electronic e-MAR system (full training provided).
