We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a residential construction project for our client in Newark. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a well-structured site team, supporting the successful delivery of high-quality housing projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations
* Assist in coordinating subcontractors and site activities
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to quality standards
* Help maintain high levels of health, safety and environmental compliance
* Monitor quality control in line with NHBC and project specifications
* Assist with site reporting, inspections, and progress tracking
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders on site
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a construction environment, ideally residential
* Relevant construction qualification or working towards one
* CSCS Card essential
* SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress
