* On-Call Requirement: This role includes being on-call one weekend in every five (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). When on call, you will receive £25 per day, with an additional £25 paid for any actual call-outs.
Purpose of the role
We are looking for a strong team player with a high regard for health, safety, and poultry welfare to maintain the hatchery machinery and associated equipment on a daily basis. This includes equipment such as setting and hatching machines, ventilation systems, and ongoing improvement projects.
This is a hands-on role involving manual processes, including lifting equipment up to 25 kg. You will be expected to work independently within farm buildings.

What we are looking for
* Qualified in a relevant engineering trade
* Broad understanding of mechanical processes and assemblies
* Knowledge of facilities maintenance, including welding, fabrication, plumbing, and pipe fitting
* Effective communication skills and a good team player
* Committed, reliable, and flexible attitude
* Ability to use initiative and work independently

Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 15:30
