Offer description

About the Job Investment Analyst/Associate – UHNW Private Markets (Japanese / Korean Speaking) Location: London (Office-based with flexibility) Salary: DOE Start Date: ASAP About the Opportunity We are working with a boutique private investment and family office advisory firm that partners directly with Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) families and private investors across Europe and Asia. The firm is building a new Asia-focused Private Markets Desk, and is seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate with Japanese or Korean language capability to support capital raising, investor engagement, and private markets deal flow. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the CEO and principals —not as a back-office function. You’ll gain meaningful exposure to co-investments, secondaries, venture, and real estate allocations, while building strategic UHNW and family office relationships. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting capital raising and relationship development with UHNW individuals and family offices across Japan / Korea. Preparing investment decks, co-investment proposals, and investor briefing materials. Assisting with deal sourcing, evaluation, and allocation discussions across private equity, venture and alternative strategies. Coordinating investor communications, reporting, and follow-up to drive ongoing engagement. Representing the firm at private markets, wealth, and family office events (UK and Asia when relevant). Helping to shape and establish the structure and identity of a new private markets desk inside a lean, entrepreneurial environment. What We’re Looking For Experience in private banking, private wealth management, investor relations, private markets, or capital introduction. Strong client-facing skills and confidence interacting with UHNW individuals or senior decision-makers. Fluent Japanese or Korean (business / native level). Solid understanding of private markets, asset allocation, or investment products preferred Proactive, commercial mindset with the ability to operate in a non-corporate, high-trust environment. Nice to Have Exposure to co-investments, fund placement, or secondaries. Experience in a family office, placement agent, or alternatives distribution environment. Established relationships within UHNW or private capital ecosystems (not required, but highly valued). Benefits Meaningful Responsibility: Work directly with principals—not buried under layers of hierarchy Career Growth: Clear progression to Senior Associate / VP as the desk expands Global Exposure: Opportunity to collaborate across UK, Europe, and Asia Strong Upside Incentive: Bonus structure tied to relationships and capital deployed Entrepreneurial Culture: High-autonomy environment with direct strategic input If you’re interested in shaping a new private markets desk and building relationships with UHNW families across Asia, we’d love to hear from you!
